Beschrijving De B.5 Drakkar is de voormalige DP.1614 Drakkar (Dieppe - Frankrijk) gebouwd in 1957 op de werven van Ateliers et Forges de l'Ouest (AFO) in St. Nazaire in Frankrijk. Het vaartuig is aangekocht in november 1973 en verbouwd tot bokkenvisser (type voordien onbekend) zoals hier te zien op de foto. In de vaart gekomen op 08.05.1974 als B.5 Drakkar in eigendom van Crevits Louis-André en Eddy (later Firma Crevits, Louis en zonen PVBA). Zie ook foto 30473. Oorspronkelijk uitgerust met een 690pK motor, maar krijgt in 1981 een nieuwe 900pK geïnstalleerd. Op 17.07.1988 is het de Z.5 Drakkar geworden, eigendom van de PVBA. Shark [niet gedocumenteerd door de Officiële lijst de Belgische Vissersvaartuigen]. Op 17.08.1989 wordt het schip doorverkocht aan NV Suzy. Op 30.06.1995 geschrapt uit de Belgische vloot en verkocht naar Ierland, waar het in de vaart kwam als de T.31 DRAKKAR II (Tralee - Ierland). Zeker tot 2001 nog in de vaart.
