Abstract
    C-myc, c-fos, c-jun and c-mos were localized in testis and epigonal tissue of the elasmobrach, Scyliorhinus canicula, using immunocytochemistry and Northern and Western blottings. In contrast to the situation in other vertebrates, these oncogenes do not seem to play a significant role in spermatogenesis.
