Abstract

Actocharis cassandrensis n. sp., a shore-inhabiting staphylinid collected on the Kassandra peninsula, Greece, is described. Differential characters allowing separation from A. marina Fauvel, the only valid species of Actocharis Fauvel hitherto known, are pointed out and illustrated.
