Abstract
    A single specimen of the Indo-Westpacific Amathina tricarinata (Heterobranchia, Amathinidae) was collected in the Beirout harbour 3-8 m depth. The histological study of the gonad revealed the presence of sperm and ripe eggs thus suggesting a good adaptation to the new environment.
