Although these types of defensescan be seen almost everywhere, they pose special technical andgovernance challenges.This book is about a unique interdisciplinary research programdeveloped to tackle some of the issues designers and managersof multifunctional flood defenses are confronted with, and also toprovide some practical solutions.
