The estimates of spawning stock biomass by the eggs production method are substantiated and realized in practice. Probable causes of mistakes in such estimates are analyzed. The trends, objects, and tasks, as well as a pro9ram for further study of such fishreproductive ecology are determinated on the basis of analysis. This book is of interest for ichthyologists as well as for students of biological and fishery high schools.
