Abstract
    N. igiliensis sp.n., found on rocks on the island of Giglio, is chiefly characterized by (1) its small size, (2) by the fact that its uteri are not united at the front of the pharynx and (3) by its very long penis bearing a short stylet. The new sp is described, and its relationship to other spp of the gen, particularly N. alcinoi, is discussed.
