Abstract
    The thelycum of 10 species of the genus Thysanoessa has been studied, including examination by scanning electron microscopy. It has been possible to reveal that the thelycum differs distinctively, even within species which are morphologically very similar. In all species of the genus 2 spermatophores have nearly always been observed.
