Abstract

In this paper, a systematic study of the 3 species of the genus Cellaria Ell. and Sol. collected from the northern coasts of Spain is carried out: C. fistulosa (Linnaeus), C. sinuosa (Hassall) and C. salicornioides Lamouroux. This study presents, for each species, the principal synonyms, a description, measurements, general comments about their habitat and their geographic distribution and taxonomical discussions.
