Abstract

Three species of Sphaerosyllis are described: S. gravinae, S. glandulata, new species, reported for the first time from the Mediterranean Sea and S. giandoi. These species were collected from interstitial habitats and Posidonia oceanica beds of Pontine Islands (Latium, central Tyrrhenian Sea).
