Over het archief
Het OWA, het open archief van het Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium heeft tot doel alle vrij toegankelijke onderzoeksresultaten van dit instituut in digitale vorm aan te bieden. Op die manier wil het de zichtbaarheid, verspreiding en gebruik van deze onderzoeksresultaten, alsook de wetenschappelijke communicatie maximaal bevorderen.
Dit archief wordt uitgebouwd en beheerd volgens de principes van de Open Access Movement, en het daaruit ontstane Open Archives Initiative.

We, the VDI Technology Center, are part of the VDI group. We stimulate and support innovative research and development. Our goal is to increase the technological and innovative capacity of industry, science and research. In responsibility towards the society we want to contribute to the solution of ecological, economic and social problems in the search for and the analysis and evaluation of technologies.
We are a renowned service provider for promoting research, innovation support and innovation policy. Our services include public relations, consulting and project sponsorship. We are for federal ministries - mainly for the BMBF active and the countries and the European Commission -. Other clients are organizations and companies.
In 1975 the Technology Center was established as an area of VDI e. V., since 2003, we operate under the name GmbH. Together with other companies in the VDI group we have our headquarters in 2008 in the Düsseldorf Airport City based. End of 2011, the Berlin site was established. We currently employ approximately 200 employees: an interdisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, social scientists, people & business economists and employees of public relations and the Secretariat. |
