Over het archief
Het OWA, het open archief van het Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium heeft tot doel alle vrij toegankelijke onderzoeksresultaten van dit instituut in digitale vorm aan te bieden. Op die manier wil het de zichtbaarheid, verspreiding en gebruik van deze onderzoeksresultaten, alsook de wetenschappelijke communicatie maximaal bevorderen.
Dit archief wordt uitgebouwd en beheerd volgens de principes van de Open Access Movement, en het daaruit ontstane Open Archives Initiative.

MARine Biodiversity, Exploitation & Conservation, est une unité mixte de recherche qui regroupe des personnels de 4 tutelles principales, l’IRD, l’Ifremer, l’Université de Montpellier et le CNRS, et une tutelle secondaire, l’INRAE. Son objectif est l’étude de la biodiversité marine des écosystèmes lagunaires, côtiers et hauturiers à différents niveaux d’intégration, depuis les aspects moléculaires, individuels, populationnels et communautaires, et des usages de cette biodiversité par l’Homme. Les trois implantations principales de l’UMR MARBEC se situent en Occitanie (Sète, Montpellier, Palavas-les-Flots), mais l'UMR est également présente dans plus d'une dizaine de pays étrangers en Afrique, océan Indien, Amérique du Sud et Asie du Sud-Est. |
