Over het archief
Het OWA, het open archief van het Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium heeft tot doel alle vrij toegankelijke onderzoeksresultaten van dit instituut in digitale vorm aan te bieden. Op die manier wil het de zichtbaarheid, verspreiding en gebruik van deze onderzoeksresultaten, alsook de wetenschappelijke communicatie maximaal bevorderen.
Dit archief wordt uitgebouwd en beheerd volgens de principes van de Open Access Movement, en het daaruit ontstane Open Archives Initiative.

MSc degree in Biology with specialization in biological ecology (2006); currently she is a PhD Student in Ecology and Biological Resources Management (Tuscia University, Italy) and research fellow at ISPRA - Institute of Environmental Protection and Research in Conservation and Management. Her key skills are related ecosystems monitoring through remote sensing and GIS applications. She is actually involved in THESEUS FP7 - EU project for biophysical assessment of sensitive coastal habitat and in national research project in the field of nearshore ecosystems characterization for morphological and ecological characterization and habitat
