Over het archief
Het OWA, het open archief van het Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium heeft tot doel alle vrij toegankelijke onderzoeksresultaten van dit instituut in digitale vorm aan te bieden. Op die manier wil het de zichtbaarheid, verspreiding en gebruik van deze onderzoeksresultaten, alsook de wetenschappelijke communicatie maximaal bevorderen.
Dit archief wordt uitgebouwd en beheerd volgens de principes van de Open Access Movement, en het daaruit ontstane Open Archives Initiative.

I work as lecturer at the University of Vienna, teaching several invertebrate groups like European copepods, cladocerans and ostracods. I also have a consulting company specialized on systematics of meiofauna and zooplankton. My research on copepods started during the development of my PhD thesis about Colombian copepods from high Andean lakes and ponds. My area of expertise are freshwater copepods. particularly harpacticoids (Canthocamptidae, Parastenocarididae). Shortly I started to study freshwater Ameriidae. Since 2020 I investigate also copepods from groundwater. Until now I have described 3 genera and 11 species of copepods, ostracods and cladocerans.
