Over het archief
Het OWA, het open archief van het Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium heeft tot doel alle vrij toegankelijke onderzoeksresultaten van dit instituut in digitale vorm aan te bieden. Op die manier wil het de zichtbaarheid, verspreiding en gebruik van deze onderzoeksresultaten, alsook de wetenschappelijke communicatie maximaal bevorderen.
Dit archief wordt uitgebouwd en beheerd volgens de principes van de Open Access Movement, en het daaruit ontstane Open Archives Initiative.

Dr Pat Hutchings, Senior Fellow at Australian Museum, Sydney. She has published extensively on the systematics of the Australian polychaete fauna, especially the terebellids but also on other groups elsewhere in the world. Working with many polychaete colleagues from around the world she has been trying to resolve species complexes as well as correcting species identifications, which have been based on using old and inappropriate literature. It is critical that records on WoRMS are the most upto date including distributions records Pat is also an active editor of Zootaxa and is thus aware of the recent polychaete literature. | |
