Over het archief
Het OWA, het open archief van het Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium heeft tot doel alle vrij toegankelijke onderzoeksresultaten van dit instituut in digitale vorm aan te bieden. Op die manier wil het de zichtbaarheid, verspreiding en gebruik van deze onderzoeksresultaten, alsook de wetenschappelijke communicatie maximaal bevorderen.
Dit archief wordt uitgebouwd en beheerd volgens de principes van de Open Access Movement, en het daaruit ontstane Open Archives Initiative.

Dr. Leszek A. Błędzki is a limnologist and an expert in taxonomy, ecology, and biogeography of Cladocera, Copepoda and Rotifera, from North America and Europe with around 50 years of experience, off which the first two decades he gained working at the Nicolaus Copernicus University (Poland), and since 1995 at the Mount Holyoke College (Massachusetts. USA), teaching Limnology, Ecology and Environmental Science. He published over 120 peer-reviewed articles and several books, this includes (but is not limited to) ecology of zooplankton, Cladocera and Copepoda identification keys. | |
