Abstract

KELPEX will to quantify kelp production and export and assess the role played by this export in shaping the structure and functioning of communities adjacent to kelp forests, both shallow and deep, in arctic Norway. KELPEX is funded by the Norwegian Research Council (2016-2018) and includes an international team of researchers, postdocs and MSc students from Norway, Denmark, Spain, Belgium, Germany and Australia.
