Abstract

In dit interdisciplinaire doctoraatsproject onderzoekt Alexander Hooyberg hoe verschillende kustomgevingen in België de psychologische en fysiologische stress kunnen verlagen. In een reeks experimenten worden nieuwe technologieën (bv. eye tracking, VR) geïntegreerd om de psychofysiologische reacties op de kust versus groene en stedelijke controles in het binnenland te meten. Deze experimenten worden aangevuld met een grootschalig vragenlijst-onderzoek dat tot doel heeft de sociale structurering van recreatief bezoek aan de Belgische kust te ontrafelen.
