Abstract
Het programma 1999-2002 is samengesteld uit volgende luiken:

1. Enhancement of research capabilities (M. Vincx, RUG);
2. Education and innovation in engineering & environmental sciences (R. Soetaert, RUG);
3. Musa biotechnology for a sustainable development (R. Swennen, K.U.Leuven, onder voorbehoud);
4. Environmental management systems in agriculture and aquaculture (L. Van Biesen, VUB);
5. New management techniques for a sustainable shrimp aquaculture (L. Schoofs, K.U.Leuven);
6. Studies for development of the coastal area of Ecuador (C. Dauwe, RUG)
