Over het archief
Het OWA, het open archief van het Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium heeft tot doel alle vrij toegankelijke onderzoeksresultaten van dit instituut in digitale vorm aan te bieden. Op die manier wil het de zichtbaarheid, verspreiding en gebruik van deze onderzoeksresultaten, alsook de wetenschappelijke communicatie maximaal bevorderen.
Dit archief wordt uitgebouwd en beheerd volgens de principes van de Open Access Movement, en het daaruit ontstane Open Archives Initiative.

On Friday, 2 March 2007, the seventh ‘VLIZ Young Scientists’ Day’ (170 pre-registered participants) was organized in Provinciehuis Boeverbos, Sint-Andries (Brugge), Belgium. This ‘VLIZ Special Publication 39’ comprises the abstracts of the oral, poster and demo presentations as well as the summaries submitted by the laureates and applicants of the ‘VLIZ aanmoedigingsprijzen mariene wetenschappen 2006’ and ‘Annual VLIZ North Sea Award 2006’. |
