Abstract
    A new species of leuconid (Crustacea, Cumacea), Leucon (Crymoleucon) noerrevangi, is described from the BIOFAR sampling program of the Faroe Islands. The species is distinguished from others in the genus by the combination of characters: carapace dorsal crest anterior 2/3 serrate and 1 tooth posteriorly; frontal lobe with lateral group of spines; pseudorostral lobe with group of spines; uropod rami subequal and distally quadrate.
