Abstract
    Dasyella gracilis had not been collected for more than a century. A detailed description is given from specimens collected in Pyrénées-Orientales (Mediterranean Sea, France). The female gametophyte and the tetrasporophyte are described for the first time. The systematic position of the genus Dasyella is confirmed.
