Over het archief
Het OWA, het open archief van het Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium heeft tot doel alle vrij toegankelijke onderzoeksresultaten van dit instituut in digitale vorm aan te bieden. Op die manier wil het de zichtbaarheid, verspreiding en gebruik van deze onderzoeksresultaten, alsook de wetenschappelijke communicatie maximaal bevorderen.
Dit archief wordt uitgebouwd en beheerd volgens de principes van de Open Access Movement, en het daaruit ontstane Open Archives Initiative.

| Abstract |
has been carried out during the last 2 years. Conopeum seurati and Bowerbankia gracilis are dominant in the inner part of lagoons which are subject to freshwater supply, and in other habitats with very low salinity. C. seurati is the most resistant to low salinities. A larger number of species is present in areas with higher salinities, for example at the mouths of wide lagoons. In these localities Bugula neritina, B. plumosa, B. stolonifera, Scrupocellaria bertholleti and Cryptosula pallasiana are variously dominant, depending upon other environmental conditions. |
